The Level Centre

The Project
.
Level is a visual arts centre which specialises in working with adults with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). Level is an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation (NPO).
.
Graphic Workman was asked to help develop a new visual identity which would take the organisation forward and position the work that they do as contemporary, relevant and unique.

Creative Response
.
Following audience led research, the proposed identity echoed the mix of viewpoints, characterful interactions and ambition of the organisation.
.
An ambigram logomark was conceived alongside a strong typographic language and versatile colour palette.
.
Visual page numbering systems and playful editorial layouts mirror the inclusive, playful and energentic experience of spending time at Level.

Results
.
"What we received was a creative collaboration which informed not only our future media/marketing identity and tools, but our annual programming and the delivery of our projects. The process of the re-brand touched, informed and finessed our whole approach to who we were as an organisation."
